Voordelen Alcohol Vrij

1. Lose weight

Losing weight is my biggest advantage. In September 2019 I'm getting married to Joe and I want to look fabulous in my dress. 
Alcohol can put on excess weight. This is due to low consumption of carbohydrates taken in the form of food. Alcohol by itself can from energy molecule ATP and provide calories to body. So other calorie generating food especially carbohydrates and fats are not used up. This leads to accumulation and weight gain.

2. Healthier

No more diarrhea, or bloated gut, headaches and so on.
Heavy consumption can damage the body organs and systems. Especially liver, stomach, brain are affected. Since, alcohol is mostly metabolized in liver, it is the organ which is impacted most. It may lead to fatty liver. Besides, it can also lead to cardiovascular troubles and high Blood pressure. So, limiting drinking is needed to rescue the organs. Further, having a protein-rich diet is necessary to rejuvenate the liver.

3. More energy

Because you sleep better when not drinking alcohol, you're energy level rises. I don't have to recover Monday to Wednesday from the 3 bottles of wine I had in the weekend. More time for fun things.

4. Better friend

If alcohol is not involved I can go to more places driving. Meet up more with my friends who live 30 to 40 minutes drive away. Not only talk about myself and actually listen to my friends.

People developing an alcohol problem sometimes also start to isolate themselves from those around them, either as a side effect of depression, or to hide their disease from loved ones.

5. Cost savings

1 bottle of wine EUR 7,-
Per week = EUR 7,- x 3 = EUR 21,-
Per month = EUR 7,- x 3 x 4 = EUR 84,-
Per year = EUR 7,- x 3 x 52 = EUR 1092,-
